Sutter针对在一个宽光谱中选择任意特定波长设计了一系列滤色片转轮。VF系列采用Semrock最新的VersaChrome和VersaChrome Edge薄镀膜滤色片技术，保证了高透射率，高截止率。

波长的选择是通过从0°到60°调整反射角得到的，这样的微调只是轻微的，甚至没有影响滤色片的性能。现有的VersaChrome系列的15个滤色片涵盖了338nm到900nm的光谱。
